Cybercriminals promise to have an accident at the factory if their requirements are not met.

Attackers have launched a large-scale hacker campaign aimed at Israeli chemical organizations that operate in the occupied territories of Palestine. A group called Electronic Quds Force threatens engineers and simple workers of companies, and also offers them to resign.

The attacks, according to the group, are retaliation against the Israeli government and its policies against Palestinians, hackers accuse Tel Aviv of violence. « Our recommendation to all scientists working in chemical plants, — quit your job, look for a new one. Take refuge in a place where we are not; Working in chemical plants is a threat to your life. We will not hesitate to melt your bodies with chemicals the next time an act of violence against Palestinians is committed », — said in a message sent by Electronic Quds Force.

The clear message — hackers claim that they can interfere with the plant, and this could potentially lead to the death of innocent people. The message was published in the Telegram channel of the group along with images of industrial control systems allegedly owned by one of the chemical companies whose plant was attacked.

It has been reported that over the past week, the number of operations carried out by Israeli military in Palestinian villages has increased. According to the UN, 2023 was the deadliest year for Palestinians living in the West Bank in the last 16 years. No wonder Palestine takes revenge on Israel in this way.

In September 2023, another GhostSec pro-Palestinian hacker group announced that it had compromised 55 Berghof programmable logic controllers used by Israeli organizations as part of the « Free Palestine » campaign. GhostSec also published a video demonstrating successful entry into the administrator’s panel and said they could use it to change the level of chlorine and the pH level in the water.

And in August, the ALtahrea Team « hacker group posted » seaport websites in several major cities in Israel, as well as hundreds of other Israeli websites.
