Hackers broke into Mexico's security forces and stole health data from the country's president

The President of Mexico confirmed that the hacker group had stolen data from the Ministry of Defense.



The Mexican government acknowledged on Friday, September 30 that a group of hackers received files from the Ministry of Defense containing confidential health information from 68 - by-year-old President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. This was reported by Reuters.

According to the publication, the hack was carried out by a group of hackers calling themselves “Ara Camaya”, and in published documents it was stated that the head of state had gout and hypothyroidism.

The Mexican president at a press conference - said that the information published in the local media about the hacking of the Ministry of Defense is genuine, and confirmed information about his health problems.

“Yes, that's true. I am sick, I have several diseases, ”Lopez Obrador said.

The President added that the hacker group involved in the hacking has already done the same in a number of other countries, for example, Colombia and Chile, and is most likely to be managed from - abroad.
