"The US Department of State's Rewards for Justice program offers up to $ 10 million for information on foreign hackers conducting criminal cyber operations," the statement said.
US President Joe Biden's administration is also launching stopransomware.gov to offer public resources to counter the threat and improve network reliability, a senior administration official told reporters.
In addition, to communicate with informants, "a message channel has been created on the Dark Web (based on Tor) to ensure the safety of potential sources."
