The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation intends to create a Center for combating cybercrimes, telephone spam and phishing within the framework of the Digital Economy national project. This was reported by the TASS news agency.

“We are creating a large center to fight telephone spam, phishing and cybercrime. In fact, we say that we [the state and companies] are meeting each other halfway, that is, our systems will become more secure, and we will respond more clearly and quickly to all cases, complaints, when a person is called, they begin to try to commit some kind of fraudulent actions and so on, ”said Maksut Shadayev, head of the RF Ministry of Finance.

As part of countering cyber threats, the Ministry of Digital Science will begin "independent testing of all government information systems for security vulnerabilities." Thus, the specialists intend to eliminate the minimum risks of system disruption caused from the outside.
