“The violation concerned personal data recorded between August 26, 2011 and February 3, 2021, and related to name, date of birth, contact information, passport information, ticket information, Star Alliance and Air India frequent flyer data, as well as data credit cards, ”Air India said, adding that they do not store bank card authentication codes.
The company said it has already taken steps to ensure data security. The incident is being investigated, third-party specialists are involved, and credit card issuers are notified of the incident.
