An unknown attacker hacked into the account of a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive shooter fan and stole a collection of extremely rare skins. Well-known blogger and streamer ohnePixel spoke about the theft of skins for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) for $2 million from one user. The hacker's collection included seven souvenir and expensive AWP Dragon Lore skins, as well as a hardened knife and karambit. Reportedly, the hacker gained access to the account in mid-June 2022, and on the night of June 21-22, he began to massively sell skins and send them to his accounts. The streamer turned to the developers of the video game, asking them to look into the situation.

Apparently, Valve has already launched an investigation into the incident. Some users who bought stolen goods were temporarily blocked, while others simply lost their skins from their inventory. Officially, the company has not yet commented on the situation.
